Software engineer who's spent most of the last decade working on ecommerce platforms.

Most of my career has been turning tangled ecommerce monoliths - Magento, BigCommerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud - into modular, cloud-native systems. AI-assisted engineering is a newer interest of mine: at 4WD Supacentre I use ChatGPT and Claude day-to-day to speed up legacy modernisation and refactoring work. Based in Sydney, working across PHP, Node.js and AWS.

Right now: Currently building an internal WMS at 4WD Supacentre, with ChatGPT and Claude as part of the daily toolkit.

Designing and building an internal Warehouse Management System that runs order and inventory flow for 30+ retail stores and warehouses across Australia.

Integrated Magento 1 (gift cards, commercial orders) and Magento 2 (primary web sales) into the WMS platform via real-time API integrations.
Use ChatGPT and Claude day-to-day to accelerate legacy modernisation and code refactoring work.
Built and maintain an in-store AI sales assistant on Lovable for real-time product recommendations - an early, practical bet on AI-first prototyping.
Improved scalability and reliability using Symfony, Lightspeed POS and Workato integrations, with AWS (S3, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch) for messaging, storage and monitoring.

Led a major platform transformation from a Magento 1 monolith to a decoupled architecture.

Converted Magento 1 into an internal Order Management System while standing up Salesforce Commerce Cloud as the storefront.
Built event-driven integrations on AWS (Lambda, SQS, SNS, Elastic Beanstalk, S3) and a Node.js API gateway for the iOS and Android apps.
Coordinated with offshore engineering teams to ship integration work while keeping production stable.
